Product Information
A decrease in fuel consumption, substantial improvement of DPF's and an overall increase in fuel burn efficiency translate to substantial emission reductions as well. The emission benefits are achieved due to a:
- More Complete Combustion
- Lower Operating Temperature
- Lower Overall Engine Pressure
These factors account for the reduction of unburned carbon being released during the exhaust stroke of the engine and/or back into the oil as soot.
There are three ways that your fuel can be catalyzed with EnerBurn, listed below in preferential order.
- Have fuel delivered pre-treated by your fuel supplier
- Install chemical injection equipment at your fuel tank farms fuel delivery inlet (We use HammondCos.com which supplies military grade chemical injection equipment)
- Hand treat your tanks or equipment. (Not preferred)
Our products are available for purchase either directly from Enerteck via our contact form or our online store or through one of our distributors. You can find a local distributor on our distributors page here
Once your fuel tank farm has been outfitted with our chemical injection equipment (there is a month or so time period to permit and install) the equipment is extremely durable and requires minimal to no maintenance. The only time required is to have someone there when fuel is delivered, to ensure the delivery person is using the injection system as the fuel tank input to ensure the fuel is dosed with the EnerBurn catalyst
Using EnerBurn usually results in an 8-12% improvement in fuel consumption, a 25-40% reduction in lube oil consumption, an almost complete elimination of stack exhaust, a substantial performance improvement of Diesel particulate Filters and an increase in equipment service life due to the more efficient operation of the engine. The annual expenditure for EnerBurn will only require a 2.4% improvement in fuel efficiency to break even on the cost of chemical. Note: This does not include ANY of the other savings noted above! At current prices (Mid-2022) the ROI is well over 250% and the breakeven period is between 2-4 months, dependent on a variety of factors.
Adding EnerBurn to your fuel tank will not void the manufacturers warranty on new vehicles and here's why:
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312
This is a federally mandated act. It provides that unless specifically waived in writing by the Federal Trade Commission,
it specifically prohibits any manufacturer from making its vehicle warranty conditional on the use of any brand of fuel,
fuel additive, fluid, lubricant or filter unless the manufacturer provides the fuel, fuel additive, fluid, lubricant or
filter free of charge for the duration of the affected warranty.
Since in most instances the Federally mandated "Emission Warranty" is of longer duration than the OEM's "Basic Coverage" or the
"Extra Drivetrain Warranty" it means that from 0 to 100,000 miles or for full 10 years manufacturer would have to supply the
item free if he would specifically require the use of specific brand.
If you are ever told that only the original equipment fuel, fuel additive, fluid, lubricant or filter offered by the dealer or
mechanic must be used or the warranty will be void, then demand that the service performed and the OEM fuel, fluid, lubricant
or filter is FREE of charge. If you are charged for the fuel, fluid, lubricant or filter the manufacturer is violating Federal law.
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the
aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).
If they can prove the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure, then the warranty repair on the failed part does
not have to be provided. The warranty is still valid on all other covered parts and can not be voided per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act.
So any mis-informed news reports, discussions, Blogs, or any other means of communication stating that using EnerBurn® will void
the manufactures vehicle/engine warranty, is completely without merit and not supported by Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))
If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor warranty claims, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or
www.ftc.gov.
